Sinister

Christopher Young, the composer of Sinister’s— a horror movie written by Ellison Oswalt— soundtrack, was set to showcase his work. The poster design and branding assets are to promote his music show. The circles represent the repetition of sounds throughout the album, and the different opacities show the uniqueness between them. The slight glitch pulling in different directions is a portrayal of the inconsistency of the music, and the silence that fights with the voices heard in most of the songs. The wash of green on the rings gives depth and pulls the elements together to create a cohesive composition. Student project.

Social issue poster designed for the Marc Choko competition at l’UQAM. The goal was to convey a message about immigration in Canada. The bright forms in the background, expressing individuality and a positive emotional impact, create a silhouette of a person in action. The white circle in the centre holds the type: we are here to welcome, guide and support the newcomers. Canada is home to all.
